There are many variables to consider when purchasing golf bags. For example, golfers should think about whether a golf bag will be left outside for long periods of time and exposed to wind or rain. A bag exposed to the elements must be made of a tougher material.

Also consider how much storage is needed for equipment in their golf bag. Today's bags advertise pockets, handles and multiple dividers and features. Consumers should consider how much they will carry on the golf course before purchasing a bag.

Another important variable to consider is how big it needs to be. The golf bag should be tall enough to cover the clubs. However, it should not be so big that it cannot be stored easily in the home.
