Bobby Jones was, without a doubt, the best amateur player
of all time. In his prime years he was the best golfer period, amateur or professional. In one year, he won what was then considered the Grand Slam of golf: The British Open and Amateur; and the United
States Open and Amateur. He was a highly educated and articulate man, writing several golf instruction books, and a twice weekly, syndicated newspaper column. A prized collection of his columns was
reduced to the basics and appears in the book, Bobby Jones On Golf, a GolfLearning recommended book.
Bobby was also a pioneer, traveling to Hollywood, to produce the world's first high-quality set
of golf instruction films. Through modern technology, these wonderful films were converted to video tape for viewing by a wide audience.
We have been respectful of Bobby Jones' approach to teaching about the golf swing for many years, and he has done a really fine job of describing the feel and sense of the swing in this classic series of videos.
We recommend any part, and all of the set to players at every level of development, especially beginners
and ailing veterans attempting to rebuild their golf swings.
